Field Trip 2025: Walcheren 1809-1945

Our 2025 Field Trip visits the island of Walcheren to visit the sites where British and Canadian troops fought in 2024 to open up the Scheldt estuary and give access to the port of Antwerp. We will also draw parallels with the ill-fated British expedition against Napoleon over a century earlier.

WALCHEREN FIELD TRIP
Price: Still to be confirmed but approx. £800 pp sharing a room. Single supplement estimate £125. Based upon minimum number of 15 persons.
Please note that start and finish times are also approximate at this point.
Price includes return Eurostar London to Brussels, coach travel in Belgium and Holland, three nights bed and breakfast, and souvenir map book. Lunches and evening meals are not included. It will also be possible to meet the group in Brussels, please enquire for details.
